Product Description
The chemical composition is sodium glutamate, which is a fresh seasoning that is easily soluble in water. Its aqueous solution has a strong and fresh taste. When combined with salt, its taste is fresher. MSG can be made from wheat gluten and other proteins, as well as from pyroglutamic acid contained in starch or sugar beet molasses, and can also be synthesized chemically. MSG also has the effect of relieving alkalinity, acidity, and bitterness. Sodium glutamate participates in normal protein metabolism in the human body, promotes oxidation processes, and has certain health benefits for the brain, nerves, and liver. Adult consumption is not limited, but not suitable for infants.

Detailed Photos
The main raw materials for the development of glutamic acid include starch, molasses, acetic acid, ethanol, etc. Many domestic manufacturers now use starch as raw material to produce glutamic acid, while a few manufacturers use molasses as raw material to produce glutamic acid, which is then converted into monosodium glutamate. Using urea and salt as nitrogen sources, adding excipients, cultivate glutamic acid producing bacteria, and ferment for 30-40 hours.
The methods for extracting glutamic acid include isoelectric point method, ion exchange method, metal salt method, hydrochloric acid hydrolysis isoelectric point method, ion exchange membrane electrodialysis method, etc. Extract and refine to obtain sodium glutamate that meets international standards. The finished product is a colorless or white columnar crystalline powder. Easy to dissolve in water, slightly soluble in alcohol, relatively stable to light and heat. It has a strong meat flavor and can still be tasted when diluted 3000 times.

Application
1.Seasoning agents
When used as a seasoning, the general dosage is 0.2% to 0.5%. Unless used separately, it is advisable to mix with nucleic acid seasonings such as ribonucleotides and sodium inosinate to form a composite seasoning to improve the effect. Sodium glutamate is the most widely used freshness agent both domestically and internationally. When coexisting with table salt, it can enhance its flavor effect. When used together with sodium 5 '- inosinate or sodium 5' - guanosine, it has a multiplier effect. According to our country's regulations, various types of food can be used in moderation according to production needs.
Sodium glutamate has a strong meat flavor, and monosodium glutamate can still feel its freshness when diluted to 3000 times with water. It is widely used in households, the food industry, and food processing industries (soups, sausages, fish cakes, spicy soy sauce, canned goods, etc.). Sodium guanylate and sodium glutamate are used together, which have a synergistic effect and can enhance the freshness. It is also known as a freshness aid or strong monosodium glutamate.
2.Biochemical reagents for pharmaceutical use
Glutamate is widely present in the body of animals and plants, and is a naturally occurring nutrient in food. After consumption, 96% of glutamic acid is absorbed in the body, while the rest is oxidized and excreted in the urine. Although glutamic acid is not an essential amino acid for the human body, it undergoes amino transfer with ketones in nitrogen metabolism and can synthesize other amino acids. Glutamate has the effect of reducing toxins in the blood. When liver function is impaired, the ammonia content in the blood increases, causing serious nitrogen metabolism disorders and leading to liver coma. Glutamate can act with ammonia to reduce the ammonia content in the blood. In addition, brain tissue can only oxidize glutamate and cannot oxidize other amino acids. When glucose supply is insufficient, glutamine can act as an energy source for brain tissue, so glutamic acid is necessary for improving and maintaining brain function. In addition, it can also be used as a brain nutrient in medicine to prevent liver coma and epilepsy.
